EPA Revises Some PM 2.5 Designations – Counties Affected
 

On April 14, the EPA formally revised the list of 240+ counties in the U.S. that were designated earlier this year as “non-attainment” with new federal standards for fine particulates (PM 2.5). Upon revision, some counties on the original list were re-classified as “attainment” based on new air quality data submitted by the states to EPA. The following counties have now been re-designated as “attainment.”
